Hello Villainesses and Villains!

This is Tanya and Emily, the two villainess developers behind our upcoming animated visual novel, Save the Villainess. We’re excited to announce that there’s only one day left to support this game's development on Kickstarter. To celebrate, we have several interesting videos to share!

We hope you have had a chance to check out our demo, which has: 

• Roughly 3 hours of gameplay 
• Animated characters, backgrounds, cut-scenes, and clues
• 1 witty and neurodivergent villainess, 1 investigative puzzle to solve, 1 piece of furniture to fight, and 1 bad ending to enjoy
• Variable difficulty - play in story mode for in-game clues or detective mode for a challenge
• 4 suspects & potential love interests: Edmund, Izel, Ben, and Servant

To celebrate the end of our Kickstarter (on 8/21 Wednesday at 9 am EST), we also have been streaming some post-demo alpha game footage with guest stars Blerdy Otome, the Vorpal Sword Entertainment Syndicate, and EpyksLion. In the videos of these streams, you will discover more about Servant and the mysterious haunted House where Jane is trapped, as well as go on a new investigation into Jane’s bedroom to learn more about her supportive “patron”. You can see already completed streams on this Youtube playlist. 

We’ll also hold one final stream with AitherVT that allows Jane to finally take tea and talk murder with Edmund and Ben! We will stream that sneak-peek scene on our Twitch page this Tuesday, 8/20, at 10 pm EST. We’ll also post a video log of that stream on Youtube until the end of 8/21. 

These video logs will only be available until the end of 8/21 so please watch them as soon as possible! 

Finally, please remember to support Save the Villainess on Kickstarter to help our game reach more goals, such as more romantic CGIs (including with Servant), more animated mysteries, and even more animated bad endings. This is the last day of our Kickstarter campaign and your final chance to pick up goodies such as discounted bundles and in-game animated portraits. This is also a last opportunity to support our game’s development and to get access to Kickstarter-backer-only updates with special sneak-peeks of our game.
